Custom Trex Deck Rebuild with Aluminum Insulated Porch Cover

Here's what we were working with - a completely stripped-down back of the house with no deck at all. Just bare concrete, exposed framing, and a blank slate. That's actually the best place to start when you want to do something right.

We framed everything from the ground up. Solid post bases, a full pressure-treated substructure, and a framing layout built to last. No shortcuts in the bones of this build. You can see how far the structure extends - this is a serious deck, not a small weekend platform.

Once the deck framing was taking shape, we brought in the Trex decking and the custom metal balusters. One thing we don't do - nails. Every board is fastened with hidden fasteners for a clean, nail-free surface. It's a detail that makes a huge difference in how the finished deck looks and holds up over time. No popped nails, no splitting around fastener holes.

Then came the aluminum insulated porch cover. This is where the build goes from functional to sharp. The dark aluminum frame paired with the clean panel finish gives the whole structure a strong, modern look. It also means the space underneath stays usable no matter the weather - insulated panels keep heat out and protect the deck below.

The whole thing came together as a complete outdoor living space - upper deck, covered area, metal rail system, and quality Trex decking throughout. High-end materials and craftsmanship, built at a price that actually makes sense. More photos and video from this one are on the way.
